Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) celebrates the launch of its brand new, hallmark ship – Norwegian Escape – designed for ultimate freedom and flexibility, complete with largest waterpark at sea.
Featuring spectacular suites, larger cabins, luxury finishes and a focus on world-class service and on-board activities, Norwegian Escape sets new benchmarks in contemporary cruising - set to be rolled out across NCL’s fleet.
On-board highlights include the world’s largest waterpark at sea, a three-storey ropes course, the line’s first snow room and thermal spa, and three floors of world-leading restaurants and entertainment – including a waterfront boardwalk, 28 dining options, 21 bars and lounges, Broadways shows, musicals, comedy and one-of-a-kind theatrical dinner performances.

In a celebration reflective of Norwegian Escape’s status as NCL’s largest ship and first in its Breakaway Plus Class, international music sensation and GODFATHER of Norwegian Escape, Pitbull, headlined the liner’s christening – held in its home port of Miami this month – performing his hottest hits, including “Don’t Stop the Party”, “Fireball” and “Give Me Everything”.
The celebrations also showcased a sneak peak of the stellar entertainment Norwegian Escape has to offer with the casts of Tony-Award-winning Broadway shows ‘After Midnight’ and ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ performing a selection of songs from each show.
