![]() Samsung Electronics Australia has given us its hero Wi-Fi enabled camera with the 2013 SMART CAMERA 2.0 range – the WB250F. This new camera combines high optical performance and classic style with Wi-Fi connectivity using SMART Camera 2.0 technology.
“With the success of the SMART CAMERA range in 2012, Samsung is proud to offer Australians the next stage in the evolution of its ever growing Wi-Fi enabled camera range, delivering compact cameras that offer a high quality photography experience, with the added benefits and convenience of Wi-Fi connectivity,” said Craig Gillespie, Head of Digital Imaging, Samsung Australia. “The WB250F is the first in a line of SMART CAMERA 2.0 cameras set to launch in Australia in the coming months, and allows Australians to capture, edit and directly share those picture perfect moments effortlessly with their friends, family and entire social networks.” The new camera in the WB long-zoom series makes it easy for users to achieve excellent quality pictures from a camera that is stylish and classic in design. The WB250F boasts outstanding optical performance to make capturing great photos easy, with an 18x optical zoom, a 14.2 Megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and lens featuring a 24mm wide angle. Built with a hybrid touch interface consisting of a touch LCD screen and five-way navigational keys, the camera allows users to manipulate controls to their preference. For photographers that want to make the most of this, a full manual mode option gives complete control over the camera’s settings. To make brilliant photography easy, the new WB250F also incorporates features such as ‘Best Face’, which allows users select the best expression from a burst of photos and combine them into one single ‘best photo’, as well as SMART Mode and Motion Photo features, allowing users to achieve pro-standard quality and creativity under any condition. With the addition of Wi-Fi capabilities, users can share high-quality photos quickly and easily wherever a Wi-Fi network is available. The response time from switching on, is so quick, you shouldn't miss a shot. Like any new digital camera, we suggest taking as many shots before travelling as possible.
