NEW TRAVELODGE HOTEL SYDNEY AIRPORT OPENS
OFFERS 209 ROOMS, ALL-DAY DINING AND LATE NIGHT BAR
TFE Hotels has opened the stunning and contemporary new Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport, meeting the robust demand for quality accommodation in the rapidly developing suburb of Mascot. With 209 rooms, it is the eighteenth Travelodge Hotel in Australia and New Zealand and delivers “more of what you want and less of what you don’t” in line with the brand’s Refreshingly Simple promise.
Like all Travelodge Hotels, it offers comfortable beds and contemporary decor, free Wi-Fi and standard 11am check-out. The new hotel features modern interior design and great dining options at T’s Bar & Bistro, providing a comfortable, convenient layover for the no-nonsense traveller at Australia’s busiest airport. TFE Hotels manages the property, which was developed by Andary Group and is located on O’Riordan Street and King Street, only 500m from domestic terminal entrances.
TFE Hotels CEO Rachel Argaman said the new hotel was well positioned to meet the growing demand for quality accommodation close to the terminals – Sydney Airport’s record 42 million passengers last year and its 2.5 million additional airline seats had provided its fastest growth year in more than a decade. She said the fundamentals for adding new hotels to rapidly growing Mascot were excellent.
“That trajectory of growth in Mascot is expected to continue and as our second hotel there, it is well positioned to make the most of that,” she said. “There is very limited room supply growth in Sydney, so that area gets that flow-on demand. There is also significant overflow from major events in the city or even at Homebush – the State of Origin completely filled our Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Airport in June and the demand for rooms there has seen us achieve good room rate growth. We will see that extend to the new Travelodge Hotel.”
Richard Andary, Managing Director of Andary Group said the new hotel would immediately ease increased demand for quality accommodation at Sydney’s busy international airport, offering travellers a new option.
Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport offers guests plenty of space to unwind, with a vast open lobby decorated with Insta-worthy furniture and striking light fittings, all combining for a relaxed travel experience with the essential comforts required by domestic and international travellers.
Guests can indulge in the all-day dining and late night bar at T’s Bar & Bistro, which is the perfect place to unwind for those flying in or out on later flights or adjusting to different time zones. T’s Bar & Bistro serves hearty breakfasts, fresh and delicious all-day menus and is open late. There is also 24-hour room service for those on the go.
An 800-bay car park offers a $15 rate per day and a shuttle bus operates every half an hour to the domestic and international airport terminals, at $6 per person per trip.
To celebrate the opening of Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport, travellers who book now can save up to 25% and receive a complimentary buffet breakfast, for stays between now and 8 October 2017.
