Holland America Line’s msNoordam to sail in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
New entertainment experiences and more
Holland America Line’s ms Noordam deployment to Australia this October is just about here. Noordam will be making its maiden voyage to her new home port of Sydney on 25 October and will sail nine roundtrip and six one-way departures through April 2016. Launched in 2006, Noordam is the newest Vista-class ship and is well-known and loved by Australians who have cruised on her in Europe, the Caribbean and Alaska.
ms Noordam provides more Verandah staterooms than her predecessor in this market, ms Oosterdam, allowing even more guests to enjoy the incredible views after a day full of entertainment, fine dining and enriching experiences.
ms Noordam will see the return of Holland America Line’s B.B. King’s Blues Club experience Down Under, which received an incredible response when it joined the departing Oosterdam in January this year. B.B. King’s Blues Club is a dynamic eight-piece live show experience that takes place every night in the Queen’s Lounge. With performers hailing directly from the much-lauded B.B. King’s Blues Club in Memphis, the show has been thrilling Holland America Line guests over the past two years.
Following ms Noordam’s drydock in April 2015, LED screens were installed in the main show lounge which offer the ability to change out dynamic backdrops, making the stage shows even more vibrant and interactive. The popular Dive-In has received refurbishments, along with The Greenhouse Spa & Salon, Ocean Bar, Pinnacle Bar, Crow’s Nest, Explorer’s Lounge, Neptune Suite and Atrium.
“The arrival of Noordam in our region further exemplifies our commitment to offering Australians and New Zealanders the very best in premium, mid-sized cruising,” said Tony Archbold, Director of Sales, Australia and New Zealand. “Holland America Line offers a holiday experience which is perfect for couples, families and singles alike. Our exciting entertainment, sophisticated dining and engaging enrichment activities are proof of this, and ms Noordam beautifully showcases them all.”
