Tee Off in India

A new book on golf travel in India will be of interest to tour organisers as well as business executives and tourists visiting the country.

Tee Off in India: People, Places and Golf, the first-ever golf travel guide to India, is a lavishly illustrated 128 page book that not only details golf destinations but also includes information on a number of other topics ranging from the history of golf in India and golf and the environment to personalities that have been instrumental in developing the game.

The book was co-authored by Phil Ryan, the designer of numerous signature golf courses in India, and PATA award winning travel photojournalist, Thomas E. King. In order to cater to the booming inbound tourist market Ryan and King have also included travel information about major tourist destinations as well as specialised features on such diverse topics as transport, heritage hotels, handicrafts, Indian cuisine, wildlife and houseboats.
