An MP3 for you

What is an MP3?

A question, we hear from many mature travellers.

Through the interest shown by Creative Labs Pty ltd, who have provided us with a sample of their latest unit, a MuVo T200, we will explain to you what they are and how they are almost one of the first things, you should carry with you on your next trip.

An MP3 is the latest refinement in what we remember as the Walkman. A fairly small unit, in its day, that clipped to your belt and played music tapes. The better versions also had a two band radio. They also chewed-up batteries. An MP3 can run for around 9 hours on one charge of its built-in battery.

An MP3 is about as big as your thumb, weighs about 23gms and slips into your pocket.

Why an MP3 for travellers?
The MuVo T200 has a capacity rating of around 2000 songs, which you programme yourself. Therefore it has the music you like, with no adverts and you use your own ear phones. Also the sound is much clearer than the entertainment channels on an aircraft.

Don’t be frightened by the technology, think about when you first used a PC? If in doubt, get the grand kids to show you their one (turn the volume down first).

Read on and find out about the latest unit.

Creative Labs Pty Ltd, a local subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd and worldwide leader in digital entertainment products, has launched the colourful and lightweight MuVo T200 MP3 player.

With a 4GB capacity, the slim design allows you to travel light but still carry all of your important files and listen to up to 2000 of your favourite songs for the ultimate in convenience in a tiny package.

The MuVo T200 features a full colour LCD display screen enabling easy navigation and showing the player status and song titles at a glance. The screen can also be personalised with six different attractive colour schemes to suit your individual style.

The thumbdrive feature with a built-in USB connector means you can easily connect to a PC or laptop for quick file transfers without the need for a separate USB cable.
