Portable Door Lock

BYO Lock!

Thanks to the new Howsar Portable Door Lock you don’t have to worry about privacy and security when you travel.  This clever little device turns non-locking doors into locked doors simply and quickly.

Designed to temporarily lock occupied rooms against unwanted ‘visitors’, the lock acts like your own personal security guard.  You and your belongings will safe from harm as long as this clever device is fitted to your door.

Nothing spoils travel more than having your belongings stolen, or worse, feeling you are personally at risk of harm.  Travel should be a time of exploring and enjoying the world.  The last thing you want is to find that while you were sleeping soundly (after a few sangrias with the locals!) someone popped into your room and helped themselves to your spending money or passport.

This portable lock can be used on almost all internal doors that open towards the area to be secured.  It makes the lock inaccessible from outside the room, even if someone has a key to the room.

The lock is ridiculously simple to use.  No tools are required.  You simply hold the large part in the door jam, close the door and slide the hook through the exposed hole.  It takes only a few seconds.

The Howsar Portable Door Lock is made from toughened nylon so it’s light enough to carry in your pocket or bag, and it won’t set off any metal alarms either.  It’s the perfect travel companion, particularly for those staying in hostels and backpacker rooms, or for those travelling through third world countries.

But don’t restrict its use to travel.  Most of us have been to parties or bars where the bathroom doors don’t lock.  There are few things more embarrassing than someone walking in on you in the bathroom.  By keeping the unit on you at all times you’ll avoid this dreaded scenario.

The Howsar Portable Door Lock won the Gold Medal at the International Inventions Show in Geneva and a Silver Medal at the British Inventions Show, London.

At only $15 from www.globaltravelproducts.com.au, you’d be mad not to buy one!  It’s a hell of a lot cheaper than taking your own body guard with you!
