Leading Thai Chef Sujet Saenkham Opens Surry Hills Eating House.
Featuring an innovative new regional Thai menu.
Renowned Thai chef Sujet Saenkham and partner Padet Nagsalab (Spice I am co owners) have just opened a new restaurant in Surry Hills adjoining their popular Thai restaurant House. The interior is light, airy, and spacious with interconnecting rooms that have a relaxed casual vibe. The menu has different influences to the authentic Thai of Spice I am. Sujet is offering food that is a lighter style with a variety of fresh seafood and delicious dishes from southern Thailand with Chinese and Malay influences. Fresh produce is sourced locally every day, most grown on Sujet's farm in the Southern Highlands.
Many of the dishes reflect a strong regional Thai influence. Other interesting new offerings are those from Phuket. The staff is young and friendly, prices are affordable. The menu features an eclectic diverse range of light innovative dishes, many from the coastal regions of Thailand. The restaurant is licensed. Wine, beer and all beverages are available from the restaurant bar and the hotel below.
